AnDRE Williams aka DreDay is a 25 year old rapper from the Midwest industrial city, Akron Ohio. He also spends his time in Atlanta, GA. Andre sometimes uses the moniker DreDay, a play on the taunt he used when he was on a basketball shooting streak and taunting his opponents, “That’s all day baby!” This hip-hop artist’s recent album contains singles “Good Girl”, "I'm So Alone", "Do It All Night" and "Freeway". His latest music video release for “Good Girl” and “Do It All Night” has garnered this up and coming artist additional notoriety and YouTube fan base. Video releases for the singles “Drive Me Crazy” and “Dreamin” are in post-production and due to be released mid-November. Throughout his early youth, AnDRE’s father exposed him to the soulful sounds of legends like Otis Redding and Teddy Pendergrass which helped develop his love of music. More recent artists to have an influence on AnDRE are 2Pac, Kanye West and Lil Wayne. The pain of the constant departure of AnDRE's father throughout his adolescence fueled AnDRE’s love of music as medium to express his feelings. His second love was basketball, which garnered him an athletic scholarship. He began experimenting with rap his junior year of high school creating mix tapes of his original music― gaining regional recognition as an up and coming MC. Upon graduation, AnDRE enrolled in the University of Akron’s School of Business where he continued to hone his writing, production and engineering skills building upon his online presence, music catalogue, growing fan base and reputation as a hardworking entertainer. AnDRE has opened for artist such as Shawty Lo, Young Dro, Gorillia Zoe, Young Joc, Hurricane Chris and Piles.
